Suiting a reliable self motivated individual, we are offering an apprenticeship in Electronic Security Systems covering Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Door Entry.

The successful applicant will assist an engineer in the installation, servicing and maintenance of all the above systems.  The tasks are varied and initially will involve assisting in cable runs, performing “first fix” operations and assisting with fault finding and diagnosis.  Through time the successful applicant will start being able to perform services and minor repairs themselves, with a view to becoming a qualified engineer in their own right.


Additional Information

  • the successful applicant will be required to undergo full security screening
  • will involve working at height
  • permanent (3 year apprenticeship)
  • 40 (averaged) + overtime
  • College – day release


Experience required:

  • Full driving licence an advantage but not essential
  • Standard grade (equivalent or higher) in Physics would be an advantage


Skills, abilities and personal qualities:

  • Reliable and self-motivated individual
  • Must have a pleasant manner as you will be talking directly with customers
  • Some flexibility in hours is required
