Balmoral Health and Social Care is currently recruiting for an exciting new role of Care Support Workers based in East Renfrewshire. We are looking for male and female car drivers, with the use of their own car to join our team.

 

Experience is not necessary but compassion and empathy are key skills for the role as well as being able to adapt to an ever-changing environment. The role of Care Support Worker is as challenging as it is rewarding and there is scope for progression for interested candidates.

Job Purpose:

  • To provide a range of personal, social, emotional and practical care tasks as required for the well-being of service users and their carers.
  • To work towards an assessed and planned package of support, care or maintenance programme, enabling service users and their carers to exercise control over their own lives by maximising their independence.
  • To provide a degree of social and emotional support to the service user.
  • To provide a culturally and ethnically sensitive service which is integral to the provision of home care

 

Duties:

Experience is not essential as full training will be provided. The successful applicant’s duties will include personal care, shopping, preparing meals and other associated tasks within the client’s home.  We expect our carers to provide a high standard of care to all our clients at all times.  Balmoral offers a good competitive salary and the chance to work within our existing dynamic and friendly team.

  • Rate of pay: £9.25 per hour

Typical Hours of Work – 30 hours (over 7 days)

7.00am – 1.00pm OR 4.00pm to 10.00pm
