We promote reading, support learning, encourage creativity and provide safe, welcoming spaces where people can meet and relax. If you are looking for work and need support to get online your local library is a great place to start.

If you would like to improve your computer skills we offer a range of classes to support your learning. Sign up for an IT Information Session at any East Renfrewshire Library and friendly staff will talk to you about which class would suit you best.

We offer:

  • Free introductory computing courses covering mouse and keyboard skills, basic internet, basic tablet and ipad, email and word processing skills

Free access to Atomic Learning, an online learning tool offering access to thousands of short videos covering more than 500 of today’s most popular computer software applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. In addition to software, Atomic also offers ‘How to’ videos for your mobile device and even hints and tips to develop your employability skills.
