Our stage 1 programme is to help young adults make their first steps in employability, it is aimed at giving work or training expectations in order for the participants to make the right move. This programme is perfect for all sports fans, playing football and learning new skills, as well as general fitness activities.The programme runs for up to 20 weeks and has 2 opportunities to attend each week. They are on Thursday morning from 10am-12noon at Rouken Glen Park in East Renfrewshire and Friday afternoon from 1pm- 3pm in Barrhead Community Museum. The timetable is a mix of sports and personal development workshops, which are aimed at being fun and engaging. We offer the opportunity to do work tasters along with group work activities including: Soft Skills, Barriers to Employment, Goal Setting, CV Building, Interview skills, Application Forms, Communication, Employer expectations, and Sustainability. Whilst on the programme you will receive weekly bus pass along with a free Nike training top.
