What is an Activity Agreement? An Activity Agreement is an opportunity for young people aged 16-19 living in East Renfrewshire who have left school and are not currently engaging in education, training or employment. It is an agreement between a young person and an advisor and offers the chance to get involved in a personal programme of learning and activities such as arts and crafts, sports, music, construction, life skills etc. Activity Agreements offer volunteering experiences to young people traditionally less likely/able to volunteer allowing them to develop skills for and experience the world of work, within the supportive setting of an Activity Agreement. A young person will be supported by an advisor who will sign-post them onto other agencies if appropriate. Our aim is to nurture, motivate and support a young person to move into and sustain a positive destination. What can employers offer?
Why be involved?
