Barnardo’s is the UK’s largest Children’s Charity and as part of the organisation, Barnardo’s Works services are funded to work explicitly with 16-24 year olds. This is underpinned by our knowledge and expertise of this age group.

Barnardo’s are delivering a Stage 3 Employability Fund programme for individuals who are 16-24 years old and meet the eligibility criteria for the programme. All participants will undertake a Certificate of Work Readiness SVQ qualification during induction stage to assist with their personal development and build their knowledge of the basic skills that employers are looking for. During work placement the participants will be receiving one to one support as well as attending weekly group sessions to build their portfolio and improve their employability skills. Training allowance will be paid to those who are eligible. Individuals will also receive Training on CV Building, Interview Skills and Job Search Skills.
